Fire crews and IDF units swapped dress uniforms for flame suits as the land they died defending burned.

Yom HaZikaron, marked with sirens, silence, and remembrance, honors over 25,000 fallen soldiers and thousands of terror victims—whose loss touches nearly every Israeli household.

Yom HaAtzmaut, beginning at sundown, celebrates the miracle of independence declared in 1948—77 years of endurance, survival, and sovereignty.
