The Worst War Crime of This Century

For 502 days, we held onto hope. Hope that the Bibas children—9-month-old Kfir and 4-year-old Ariel—would come home. That they would be reunited with their father, their family, their people.

But Hamas turned our hope into heartbreak.

On October 7, Hamas terrorists stormed their home, dragging them away with their mother, Shiri, a mother who did what any mother would—held her children close, tried to protect them. And instead of helping, they took photos. Photos of a mother’s terror. Photos of a baby and a child ripped from their home.

Babies should NEVER be hostages. Yet these were the youngest hostages in modern history. And Hamas used them as pawns in their psychological warfare—pretending they were alive, using their innocent faces for leverage. And then, before the hostages were released, they crushed all hope. Hamas announced that Shiri, Ariel, and baby Kfir were dead.

This is not war. This is not resistance. This is a war crime. The Bibas children cannot engage in war, Kfir was so young he couldn't even talk yet, let alone defend himself against the hell him and his family faced.

That the world’s youngest hostages were never coming home. And now, the Jewish people are in mourning.
