On the 22nd, six hostages returned: Tal Shoham, Avera Mengistu, Omer Shem-Tov, Omer Wenkert, Eliya Cohen, and Hisham al-Sayed—freed from captivity, a fragile hope amid pain.

On the 20th, four came home in silence: the young family Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, and Oded Lifshitz, a man of peace who aided Gaza’s sick, murdered by Hamas. Yarden Bibas, freed 19 days prior, learned his family was gone—the youngest hostages, lost forever. That same day in Bat Yam, bombs meant for rush hour buses failed, exploding empty by miracle, sparing hundreds.

On the 18th, armed pro-Palestinian radicals stormed Borough Park, Brooklyn’s Jewish heart, attacking with knives and hate. From Israel to the diaspora, they target our spirit. Yet, we rise—grieving, unbroken, defiant. We will never forget.
