Greta Thunberg Criticized For Ignoring Israeli Hostages

Instagram Post

·

Greta Thunberg just left Israel after staging a so-called “kidnapping” as part of a climate protest. But while she played out a fake abduction for the cameras, real people are still being held hostage.

On October 7th, 2023, 130 Israelis were taken by Hamas. As of today, over 600 days later, many are still not free. Children. Grandparents. Innocent civilians.

Greta had every chance to learn about this while she was in Israel. She was offered the chance to watch the October 7th footage and understand what our community has endured. She refused.

Israel treated her with full respect. She was fed, kept safe, and flown back to France. Yet she stayed silent. Not one post. Not one mention of the hostages still in Gaza.

Instead, she chose a PR stunt. A waste of time, food, and resources — all while ignoring the Jewish suffering happening right in front of her.

This isn’t just silence. It’s a choice. A dangerous one. When influential people ignore Jewish trauma, it sends the message that our pain doesn’t matter.

Greta isn’t just being biased. She’s contributing to erasure.

Real activism means moral clarity. And the truth is simple: there are still hostages. Still families waiting. Still people underground, in the dark.

If you care about justice, speak up. For everyone. Including Jews.
