October 7th

On 7th October 2023, Hamas committed a campaign of murder, a pogrom of uninhibited killing, rape, immolation, kidnapping and terror against the Jewish community of Southern Israel and Jews across the world.

Hamas's actions that day resulted in the deaths of 1,269 people, the wounding of over 4,834 and the kidnap of over 200, both Arabs and Jews, children and adults.

  • 816 were civilians;
  • 59 belonged to the police;
  • 382 to the military; and
  • 13 to emergency services.

On this page, we bear witness to the testimony of the survivors and the memory of those we lost as we mourn our friends and our family.
